About Children First

Children First started in the year 2008 with a mission to nurture kids irrespective of their background and economic status. It has a multidisciplinary team of child psychiatrists, psychologists, speech, occupational and other therapists. Their mission is to provide holistic mental health care solutions for children and adolescents through clinical services and spearhead preventive work through parent and teacher trainings. They aim to provide ethical, reliable, supportive and effective mental health care that is evidence based, transparent and compassionate. Vision: Create communities of concern for our children. We have strived to do this now for over a decade through attempting to provide clinical services, school programmes, trainings, developmental interventions, working with parents, within the community and with other organisations, as well as increasing awareness. Key areas Children First work in are: Clinical: Assessments, psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational assessments, psychotherapy, remedial education, occupational therapy, speech therapy Children First has Development Centre: Integrated services for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders Schools That Care: Mental health programs that we run collaboratively with schools Training: Comprehensive training modules in key areas of child & adolescent mental health
