Initially, the school was supported by Government and parents of differently abled children, at present the school has more than 100 students and is being run by Parents Association for the Welfare of Mentally Challenged Citizens, Lucknow, U.P. The curriculum of the school is designed in a way that helps children to perform daily activities like eating skills, dressing, hygiene. Weaving, candle making, stitching, diya painting & screen printing are a part of their vocational studies and Badminton, Swimming, Cricket and Other Sports are a part of their sports facilities. All the activities are planned for the children to enhance their skills and provide a holistic growth.

The organization, ISF founded by Bobby Ramani came into being in January 2014, since then the organization has made great achievements in Differently-abled Community. Jyoti Kiran School, established in 2003 is a school for special children with cerebral palsy in Mausam Bagh Sitapur Road, Lucknow. This school comes under the organization–SPARC India (School for Potential Advancement and Restoration of Confidence) founded by Amitabh Mehrotra. “Providing a place for physically and mentally challenged kids”
Drishti Samajik Santhan started a Special School in Jankipuram Extension Lucknow with the objective to provide underprivileged special children with a place to call home. The school now has 300 students with different types of disabilities.
