Autistic Pride Day, The celebration of the neurodiversity of people on the autism spectrum

The Scottish Government will fly the Autistic Pride Day flag on 18th June 2018 at their headquarters St Andrew’s House in Edinburgh. This will be the first time that a Government building in the UK, or indeed worldwide, has marked this important Autistic Cultural event so publicly.Someone who is neurodiverse in some areas of their brain, will also be no different to an average person in other areas of their brain

Is success all about getting employment, everything boils down to a 9-5 job? People with special needs or neurotypical can achieve way more with persistence and consistency. We all know about famous success story of people with special needs like Richard Branson and how he overcame dyslexia to reach a net worth of 5.1 billion USD (as on 2017) or Micheal Phelps who overcame ADHD and went on to become one of the most decorated Olympian of all time, with a total of 28 medals. We would like to cover some lesser known success stories of people with special needs. Of course, this is not an exhaustive list since there are many such stories some known and some lesser known.
